6 female superstars with stellar business acumen

At Appco Australia, we love seeing others pursue their passions and this week, we’re feeling inspired by these female A-list celebrities. When they aren’t on stage singing or filming their next big blockbuster, they’re running successful businesses in everything from fashion and beauty to vegan meal plans.
Beyoncé Knowles – she’s one of the best-selling music artists of all time, but that’s not enough for Queen Bey. She recently launched 22 Days Nutrition, a healthy, vegan diet company.
Kate Hudson – when she’s not filming, this Hollywood actress is running the activewear label, Fabletics, which she co-founded. The company is estimated to be worth an impressive $US1.5 billion.
Serena Williams – not only is Serena one of the world’s best tennis players, she’s also a successful business woman. In addition to her numerous endorsement deals, she has made a small fortune through her own clothing line.
Jessica Alba – Golden Globe-nominated actress, mother and businesswoman; these are just some of the titles Jessica holds. With a strong passion to provide natural products, she founded The Honest Company. Today the company is estimated to be worth $US1 billion.
Drew Barrymore – this Hollywood superstar knows all about cosmetics, after all she’s been in the makeup chair since she was six years old. This inspired the actress to launch her own line of cosmetics, Flower Beauty, in the USA and it’s soon to be launched in Australia.
Kim Kardashian West – like her or not, this self- professed selfie queen and reality TV star is earning $US 45.5 million from her Kimoji merchandise, lipstick collection and multiple fashion labels.
