Appco Australia gives $1,000 to Sydney homeless charity
Updated: Dec 10, 2018
Appco Australia employees have donated $1,000 to The Exodus Foundation through the company’s workplace giving program, The Appco Gives Back Foundation.
Each month, Appco Australia employees nominate not-for-profit charities and causes they would like to support. Since the initiative began, the Foundation has donated to various charities from indigenous programs and youth outreach support to medical research.
The Exodus Foundation is an Australian charity based in Sydney’s Inner West. It provides a range of programs and services for people in need, including free meals, counselling and outreach services.
CEO and founder of The Exodus Foundation, Rev. Bill Crews said: “We don’t just feed the homeless and hungry, we give those experiencing poverty the help to break free of it.
“We aim to make an immediate, tangible and positive impact on the life of each guest. We can only do that with the support of kind-hearted Sydneysiders who donate.”
The Appco Gives Back Foundation is governed by Good2Give, which is a not-for-profit organisation registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission that helps businesses and donors to give.
