Queensland hosts FW1 Super Series

23 July, 2012

Round four of the 2012 FW1 Aussie Racing Car Super Series took to the shores of Northern Queensland at the Sucrogen Townsville 400.

With thirty-two cars taking to the track, the FW1 Aussie Racing Cars again proved why they are the most exciting racing category in Australia putting a spectacular show of race battles along the street circuit of Townsville. Drivers had to battle with the altering weather conditions of North Queensland with warm sunny days and tropical storms hitting the racing track.

The FW1 Team was present in Townsville promoting FW1 Cleaning Wax, and providing media support to the Series over the racing weekend.

FW1 Aussie Racing Car driver Darren Chamberlin emerged as winner of the Masters Cup for Round four at Townsville. The official round results went to #1 Kyle Clews, #2 Trent Young, and #3 Tyler Owen.

The FW1 Aussie Racing Cars will be heading to the Sydney Motorsport Park (formerly Eastern Creek Raceway) for Round five of the Series in conjunction with the V8 Supercars on August 24 - 26, 2012.
