Appco in Focus: Appco Australia staff explain their roles
Each month, Appco in Focus introduces you to a different Appco Australia employee – it’s a great way to get to know us and understand what we do. Here we’ve mashed-up some of our favourite responses to this question: “In a nut-shell, describe your role at Appco Australia.”
“It’s extremely busy and fun – it’s my job to build and maintain relationships with our clients, Appco Australia team members and the marketing companies we sub-contract to for face-to-face marketing services. I’m the person who makes sure everything is happening when it should. I coordinate and manage all the behind-the-scenes stuff with key people, so we get the best results from the campaigns we create for our clients.”
“It’s my job to ensure the marketing campaigns I oversee for Appco Australia are on track and our clients are happy with the results. My job is fast-paced, and each day is different which makes it so interesting and enjoyable. Creating strategies, monitoring and adapting our clients’ campaigns, mentoring my team members, and building strong relationships with the sub-contracted marketing companies that supply face-to-face marketing are just some of the typical day-to-day tasks I do.”
“I provide expert advice about organisational development to the marketing companies Appco Australia sub-contracts and I also develop and maintain these relationships. My role falls within the professional advisory team which provides expertise across various fields. This service is offered to sub-contracted suppliers and it’s totally up to them if they decide to opt in. We find that most of them do as they see the immense benefits our knowledge brings to their businesses.”
“It’s my job to find new commercial clients. I spend a lot of my time talking to prospects, understanding their businesses and if face-to-face marketing is a viable option for them. Another aspect of my role is project managing test campaigns with our clients’ brands. We do this to establish where their brand is positioned in the market and to assess if there’s potential to continue a long-term campaign.”
At Appco Australia, we have a great team and each employee brings with them a diverse range of skills which contributes to the successes of our clients’ direct marketing campaigns.
